Optical Brightener Agent OB is a high molecular weight optical brightener of the thiophenediyl benzoxazole class, suitable for the optical brightener of polymers at all stage of processing. |
Optical Brighteners function by absorbing ultraviolet radiation and remitting blue light. The emitted blue light will reduce the yellow color of a polymer. In the presence of a whitening agent, such as TiO2, the use of OB-1 will produce a brilliant white or “ white than white” appearance. |
The CBS-127 is an Optical Brightener applicable to polymers, especially for PVC and phenylethylene products. It could be added to the polymers as pigment. The bright white color will present on the products if used low concentration of CBS-127 together with anatase titania. The concentration of CBS-127 should add-up if the rutile anatase titania will be used. |
